Beat the breakdown

Your AC will not warn you before it quits.

In South Florida an air conditioner runs almost every day of the year. It does not get an off season, it does not get a rest, and the day it finally gives up is almost always the hottest day you own it.

A $49 tune-up is the cheapest hour you will ever spend on that machine.

Straight talk: a tune-up reduces the chance of a preventable breakdown. It is not a guarantee that nothing will ever fail. Parts still wear out. What a tune-up does is catch the ones that give a warning, before they cost you a whole weekend.

The South Florida problem

Down here, your AC never gets a day off

Three things make a coastal Florida system fail differently than the same unit would anywhere else in the country.

01 · Runtime

It runs nearly year round

There is no long winter here where the system sits idle and recovers. Compressor, blower and capacitor all keep accumulating hours while the rest of the country is switched off.

02 · Coast

Humidity and salt air

Outdoor equipment lives in warm, salty, humid air. Coils get dirty faster, drain lines stay wet, and electrical connections have a harder life than they do inland.

03 · Timing

It fails when everyone else is failing

Systems tend to quit on the days they are working the hardest. That is exactly when every AC company in the county is buried, and when you have the least leverage.

What $49 actually buys

Ten checks, one visit, one price

This is the whole list. Not a teaser visit, not a sales call with a clipboard. A licensed technician works through every line and leaves the report with you.

1Check and record refrigerant pressuresWritten down, so next year has something to compare against.
2Inspect and tighten electrical connectionsLoose connections are a classic preventable failure.
3Test capacitor and contactorTwo of the parts most likely to strand you in August.
4Clean or replace the standard filterCustomer supplied filter.
5Clear the condensate drain lineA blocked line is how an AC problem becomes a ceiling problem.
6Check thermostat calibrationSo the number on the wall matches the air in the room.
7Inspect the blower and measure airflowWeak airflow makes everything downstream work harder.
8Wash outdoor condenser coilThe part that lives outside in the salt and the sun.
9Measure temperature split across the coilThe straightforward test of whether it is really cooling.
10Full safety inspection with a written reportYou keep the report whether or not anything is found.

Season matters

The worst week to need us is the week everyone needs us

Demand for AC work in South Florida is not spread evenly across the year. It stacks up in the hot months, which is exactly when a tired system decides it is done. Booking a tune-up in a normal week costs $49 and an hour of your morning. Booking help in a bad week costs whatever it costs, on whatever day someone is free.

The no-upsell promise

The price on this page is the price at your door

Cheap tune-ups have a reputation, and it is usually deserved. Here is exactly what we are committing to, in writing, before you let anyone into your home.

Flat $49, all of it included

One price for the full ten-point visit on one system. Not a diagnostic fee, not a deposit, not a starting-from number.

No per-item fees

Nothing on the checklist carries its own charge. Nobody is going to itemize the drain line or the coil wash separately at the end.

The technician cannot change the price

Our tech has no authority to raise the tune-up price on site. If someone tries, that is a call to the office, not a negotiation at your door.

Repairs get a written quote, no obligation

If we find something that needs fixing, you get it in writing with a price. You can say no, keep the report, and take it to anyone you like.

Straight answers

Questions people ask before they book

Is $49 really the whole price?
Yes, for the full ten-point tune-up on one system at one residential address. No deposit, no diagnostic fee on top, and the technician has no authority to change it at your door. If you have more than one system, tell us when you book so it is priced before we arrive.
My AC is working fine right now. Why bother?
That is the only time a tune-up is worth doing. Once the system has already stopped, you are not buying prevention any more, you are buying an emergency repair. The point of this visit is to catch the wear that gives a warning while the machine is still running.
Does a tune-up guarantee my AC will not break?
No, and anyone who tells you otherwise is selling something. Parts fail, sometimes without warning. What a tune-up does is reduce the chance of a preventable failure and put in writing where your system actually stands today.
What if you find a real problem?
You get it in writing, with a price, and no obligation. You can approve it, sleep on it, or take the written quote somewhere else. The $49 stays $49 either way.
How long does the visit take?
Plan on about an hour for a single system in a typical home. You book a 2-hour arrival window, and we text you a confirmation for it.
I rent. Can I book this?
Yes. We just confirm the property owner's approval before the visit, since the equipment belongs to them. Renting never blocks the booking.
Do I have to pay when I book?
No. There is no prepayment on this page. You pick your window, we text a confirmation, and you settle up at the visit.
